MARS-committee announces implementation of improved algorithmic process
After monitoring the past MARS-results, the committee of the MARS has introduced an improved algorithmic process for the calculation of the ratings. The new algorithm takes a closer look at the business of modelling agencies as a whole and henceforth, it has an improved value of comparability over the long run.
In an additional note, the new algorithm has an even finer adjustment of the ratings. Our new division of ratings can be found at http://www.mars.im/methodology/
The new MARS (version 1.2 – Click) algorithm will be used starting with the ratings given for July 2014.
